Who can do this: Tenant administrator, Operator

Use an account with access to the stated page and permission for the chosen action.

Files, presets, and history tabs are disabled until the data profile is initially created.
Parties and ROPA links use relationships to companies, contacts, teams, and users rather than plain text alone.
If inventory fields are not mapped to flows, the builder warns about unmapped fields before saving.
International transfers can be satisfied globally or per external party, but destinations and safeguards must be clear.
The ROPA CSV export computes completeness from fields and relationships; it does not replace reviewing the profile itself.

Open Assets → Data Profiles.
Click Create Data Profile to open the builder.
Complete Record Overview with name, role, status, description, version, and effective dates.
Complete Parties & Roles with controllers, processors, recipients, representatives, DPOs, owner team, and responsible users where applicable.
Complete Purpose, Data Inventory, Data Flows, Lawful Basis, International Transfers, and Security & Retention segments.
Use Review to see required sections and jump back to incomplete segments.
Create the profile, then use Files to upload evidence, Presets to reuse patterns, and History to inspect changes.

Expected outcome: The user has reviewed the result of edit ropa record in the application.

Use Files to inspect supporting evidence and History to inspect changes.
Use Review to see required sections and jump back to incomplete segments.
Use Export ROPA CSV on the Data Profiles page when the register needs to be shared or reviewed outside ITLedger.
