Review timesheet
Inspect submitted hours, the A4 report and any required signed copy before a separate approval or rejection decision.
Who can do this: Tenant administrator, Operator
Before you start
- Time Management must be enabled. Use the application’s time-entry or approval interface; Richard has no time-writing or timesheet-approval tool.
Safeguards
- Time Management must be enabled, and the user must be a configured approver or tenant administrator for the relevant team.
- Team approvers are selected independently of team membership.
- All distinct primary approvers for the user’s teams receive approval work. Backups act only through delegation.
- Excluded users may have no approver; resolve warning states instead of assuming approval is covered.
- The Time Management page is scoped: approvers only see users from teams they oversee. Excluded users are filtered out.
- When "Require Signed Timesheet" is enabled (tenant setting), the Pending Approvals table shows a "Signed" column indicating whether the employee has attached a signed timesheet document. Approvers can see attachment counts at a glance.
- Viewing signed attachments requires permission to read those documents.
- Prerequisite: time_management module must be enabled (Configuration → Tenant Management → Features → ITSM → Time Management).
- Prerequisite: timesheet approvers must be configured on teams (Configuration → User Management → Teams → Timesheet Approval section).
- To review pending timesheets: navigate to ITSM → Time Management → Pending Approvals tab.
- To view past decisions: go to the "History & Export" tab. Shows all approved/rejected timesheets for managed teams.
- To view the timesheet report: in the Pending Approvals table, click the printer icon in the "Report" column. The A4 report opens in a new window with employee details, daily breakdown, totals, and signature lines.
- To check for signed attachment: when "Require Signed Timesheet" is enabled, the "Signed" column shows attachment count. Click to see the scanned signed document before approving.
Expected outcome: The user has reviewed the result of review timesheet in the application.
