Ticket asset links in the application.

Who can do this: Tenant administrator, Operator

Before you start

  • Use an account with access to the stated page and permission for the chosen action.

Safeguards

  • Ticket asset links are distinct from ordinary CMDB relationships.
  • Include related adds the first-degree neighbors of selected assets.
  • Unlinking removes the direct association while preserving history.

  • Associated assets are read-only contextual results; only direct linked assets expose the unlink button.
  1. Open the ITSM ticket modal.
  2. To link assets, open the Assets action from the side navigation.
  3. Choose an entity type from the taxonomy catalog.
  4. Search and select one or more assets.
  5. Optionally enable Include related for selected assets whose first-degree neighbors should be added as context.
  6. Click Link Selected to create the ticket-to-asset links.
  7. Open the Assets tab to review linked assets grouped by category and toggle Linked + Associated when useful.
