Before you start
- Use an account with access to the stated page and permission for the chosen action.
Safeguards
- Keep workbook metadata and required headers intact.
- Bulk update limits and protected fields follow the tenant policy and API permissions.
- Review row-level failures; a completed upload does not mean every row succeeded.
- Open the Excel Bulk Operations Center from the resource/table command surface.
- Choose a feature-visible category and entity type.
- Choose Download Template for new records.
- Fill the workbook while keeping rows 1-4 intact and using row 5 onward for data.
Expected outcome: The user has reviewed the result of excel create template in the application.

- Choose Download All for existing records and preserve their identities in the update workbook.
- Fill the workbook while keeping rows 1-4 intact and using row 5 onward for data.

- Open the Excel Bulk Operations Center from the resource/table command surface.
- Choose a feature-visible category and entity type.
- Upload an .xlsx or .xls file.
- If target table or operation cannot be detected, manually choose the entity type or operation type.
- Review validation errors and fix the workbook before saving when needed.
- Run Upload, Process, and Save, then review the success/failed counts and detailed errors.
Expected outcome: The user has reviewed the result of excel upload review in the application.
